AMINA Bank announces Board of Directors change ahead of AGM 2026

The Chair of the Bank, Päivi Rekonen, has informed the Board of Directors that she will not seek re-election at the upcoming AGM 2026 for personal reasons.

Päivi Rekonen joined the Board in September 2020 and has served as Chair during a period of significant growth and transformation. Under her leadership, the Bank advanced its strategic priorities, strengthened its governance and organisational framework, and further enhanced its positioning in the market.

Throughout her tenure, she has brought clarity of direction, sound judgement, and a strong sense of purpose to the Board’s work, playing an important role in guiding the Bank through key phases of its development.

The Board expresses its sincere gratitude to Päivi for her outstanding leadership, her dedication, and the positive and lasting contribution she has made to the Bank. She will be formally recognised ahead of her departure.
